Printable cookie swap sign up sheet
A sign-up sheet does one job at a cookie exchange: it shows who bakes what, so nobody brings the same cookie twice. Other sign-up tools do this too, usually with slots the host creates first. Here guests just type their cookie, and a cookie that's already on the list is blocked, whatever the spelling or capitals ("Snickerdoodles" and "snicker doodles"). Plate labels are printed from the same list.
What the online sheet does
- Guests open your link, type a nickname and the cookie they'll bake. No account, no app.
- A cookie that's already on the list is blocked, whatever the spelling or capitals. A close one ("Chocolate chip" and "Chocolate chip cookies") gets a warning, and the guest can still go ahead if theirs is different.
- Each guest can tick the allergens in their cookie: tree nuts, peanuts, wheat/gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, sesame. A recipe link is optional.
- The page shows how many cookies each person bakes, from the rule you picked and the number of people who signed up.
- For the party: printable labels for every plate and a cookie list for the table or every box.
- You get a private host link to remove a claim or delete the swap. Everything is deleted 30 days after the swap date.
Printable sign up sheet
For a swap where the sheet hangs in the break room or goes around at book club. Ask people to read the list before they write, and to circle the allergens in their cookie.
